Originally, my main issue with English was speaking. I could understand the language, but I felt insecure and afraid to speak, especially in work-related situations.
During our lessons, we focused a lot on speaking practice and real-life work scenarios. This helped me gradually overcome the language barrier and start speaking more freely and confidently.
Now I work as an ML Engineer in IT and feel comfortable communicating in English at work. This was my main goal, and I’m really happy with the result.

I didn’t have enough fluency in English, and I really wanted to improve my spoken language. That’s why I came to Jamie — he’s well known for helping people boost their fluency.

In every session, we worked on speaking exercises. Jamie gave me a solid grammatical and lexical base, and then we integrated it into natural conversation through lots of practice. I never studied English at school and didn’t have the basics. I picked it up naturally through live conversations, movies and books. But I always wanted to be able to speak about professional subjects and be more eloquent, that was my goal.

Giving the fact that I have dysgraphia in all languages and am incapable of understanding grammar rules, I much more confident and comfortable speaking English now. I’m happy I can convey all of my ideas.

Tom's lessons are dynamic and intellectually demanding. They don’t feel like a grind but rather like competitive sports. You leave exhausted and excited for the next one. I’ve boosted my confidence and articulation and even gained some strategic awareness. Tom is simply great!

After six months of studying together, I can clearly see the difference in my English. I’ve become much more fluent and can formulate my thoughts faster and more naturally. My vocabulary has expanded, and I feel much more confident speaking English overall. My pronunciation has improved, and my listening skills are noticeably stronger as well.

Tom uses a wide variety of interesting and effective exercises, which makes the lessons both engaging and productive. The homework assignments are not too large, but they do a great job of reinforcing the material we cover in class.

When I started learning English with Jamie, I lacked grammar and vocabulary. I didn’t feel confident expressing my thoughts in English.

I've been working with Jamie for almost 3 years, and he's helped me with various requests. First of all, he is my bridge to English culture and traditions, I love to discuss with him traditional British things like what to eat, where to go, and what to do (working with ombudsman office was my favourite).
